Memorial Day 2015

Many of us that live in the North Woods look forward to Memorial Day weekend because it typically represents the beginning of (a very short) summer. It’s a long weekend up at the cabin, or camping at one of the many beautiful state parks, or even staying in town for special events or big sales. But many of us forget what this holiday is really all about.

While you’re celebrating this weekend, please remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can have the freedoms that we do.
